Matthew Michael Novack, age 57 of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2019. Matthew was born on December 27, 1961 in Trenton, MI to proud parents, Frank and Barbara Novack. He graduated from Trenton High School in 1981. After graduation, Matt enlisted in the United States Air Force. He proudly and honorably served for 7 years.
Matt met the love of his life, Teresa, in 1984 and the two were married 30 days later in December. He was a passionate Red Wings Hockey fan. Matt enjoyed working outside and took great pride in the upkeep of his yard. He was an avid euchre player and enjoyed playing with his crew on Wednesdays.Matt was an avid reader and found great peace in the outdoors and spending time in nature.
Above all, Matt was a loving, caring, and kind husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Matthew will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Matthew leaves to cherish his memory, loving and devoted wife of almost 35 years, Teresa Novack; son, Ethan Novack; daughter, Noelle Novack; loyal canine companion, Theo; and granddog, Gordie; parents, Frank and Barbara Novack; brother, Geoff (Denise) Novack; and sisters, Barbara Ann (Ron) Szydlowski and Sonya (Tony) Palumbo; nephews, Alex, Andrew, Nathan, and Vincent; and many other relatives and friends.
Matthew's family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Stephanie Horn and her staff for all their care, kindness, and compassion through the years.
A celebration of Matthew's life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Matt's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
