Matthew "Matt" Lawrence Barber, 55, of Brookville, passed away May 14, 2020. He was born in Orlando, Florida on December 21, 1964, to the late Ernest Barber and Mary (Garner) Owen.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Greta Phipps; and nephew, Bryan Hitchcock.
Matt is survived by his mother and step-father, Mary Ellen and Bobby Owen; son, Dustin Barber; brothers, Sam Barber and Rich (Misty) Owen; his best friend, Tony Wilson; and many other loving friends and family.
He loved to fish, riding his Harley Davidson and finding treasures at garage sales.
Donations may be made in Matt's honor to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
A Memorial Service will be held privately for the family.
