Matthew James Johnson

JOHNSON, Matthew James, age 21, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 10, 2008. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Fetzer; aunt, Shirley Stone, grandmother, Velva Johnson, and uncle Robert L. Johnson. Matt is survived by his parents, Michael and Carol Johnson; sisters, Michelle and Leanne Johnson, and Leah Deleo; grandparents, Juanita and Douglas Hannah; aunt, Christine Fetzer; uncle, Donald and Joy Fetzer; aunts, Sue Cummings, Debbie Bailey, and Tammy Ongell; cousins, Jeff, Jason, Josh, Ben, Lee, Sam, Russ, Jimmy, Brian, Jennifer, Tiffany, David, Sarah, and Lindsay, as well as many other relatives and friends. Matt participated in the Alter High School band, where he graduated from in 2006, and was a full-time student at Sinclair Community College majoring in Civil Engineering Technology, and was a beautiful person, who will be dearly missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Our Lady of Good Hope, 6 S. Third St., Miamisburg. Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm Wednesday, August 13, 2008 (TODAY) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
