Matt Slusher

Matt Slusher, age 27, of Fairborn, passed away on August 13,, 2022, at Ohio State University Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on December 21, 1994, the son of William "Bill" Slusher, Sr. and Mary Hasting Slusher.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doris Hasting, Emery Hasting, Matt Slusher and Mary Slusher.

Matt is survived by his beloved son, Alex Mustard; his loving parents, William "Bill" Slusher, Sr. and Mary Hasting Slusher; his siblings, Tanya (Justin) Slusher Conley, Sarah Hasting, William Slusher, Jr. and Austin Slusher; girlfriend, Maddy Clark; best friend, Jimmy Hans; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.
In his free time, Matt loved to go fishing, spend time in the outdoors and being with his family. Matt was a wonderful, devoted Dad to his son. He had a heart of gold and was always there for those he loved. No matter, he was always there with a helping hand. His family meant the world to him and his Mom was his best friend. He was proud to be a "Mama's Boy"!!!!! Matt will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 4:00pm-6:00pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio. Funeral Services will begin at 6:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home, with Pastor Jerry Clark officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home on the family's behalf.
