Matilda "Tillie" Schneider, age 89 of Dayton, passed away surrounded by family on October 29, 2016. She was born in Akron to the late James and Walsa Allen. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and will be remembered for her loving and compassionate nature.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of 66 years, George C. Schneider, Sr.; children, Crystal (Marty) Williams, George (Donna) Schneider, Jr., and Claudia (Steve) Ballinger; grandchildren, Greg, Jamie, Shannon, Matthew, Steven, and Doug; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Michael, Brendon,Victoria, Jenifer, and Nathan; and many other relatives and friends.
Private family services to take place at Dayton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tillie's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
