Mathilde Chauncey

CHAUNCEY, Mathilde M. (Plein) died at home on November 13, 2008. She was born March 7, 1927 in Binsfeld, Germany. She came to the United States as a WWII Army bride in August of 1948 and became an American citizen in 1952. She is survived by husband, Jesse Chauncey; daughter, Linda (Van) Goedeking; son, Dennis (Christine) Chauncey; grandchildren, Melana Richison, Nathan (Audrey) Richison, and Christopher Chauncey; and numerous nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Germany. Wife ... Mother ... Omi. Visitation will be 2-4PM Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Funeral services will be 10AM Monday, November 17, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
