Master Sgt.Theodorer. Ellington Sr.

ELLINGTON, Master Sgt. Theodore R. "Duke" Sr., age 67, of Fairborn, passed away at his residence on Saturday January 12, 2008. He was born on September 23, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his loving wife Diana Sue Ellington of 24 years; 5 children Theodore (Denise) Ellington Jr. of Greeley, CO., Thomas (Donna) Daniels of Williamsburg, VA., Michelle (Randy) Cantrell of Fairborn, OH., Michael Ellington of Indianapolis, IN., and Leesha Ellington of Columbus, OH.; 10 grandchildren Theodore III, Kamina, Cody, Becca, Tanner, Makayla, Riley, Amiri, JoJo, and Judah. Duke graduated from Central High School in Columbus, OH in 1959. He enlisted in the U.S.A.F in 1959 and served in the Vietnam War. He retired in 1985. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. A service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow with military honors at Fairfield Cemetery in Fairborn. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family.
