Marzella Brown, 76, of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 10, 2013.
She was born on April 29, 1937 in Prattville, Alabama to the late Charlie and Sally Mae Stoudemire.
Marzella worked for 30 years as a Nurse for the Dayton Mental Health Center.
On June 21, 1954, she married Frank Brown and they resided in Dayton, Ohio.
She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Marzella was also preceded in death by her Husband, Frank Brown Jr. in November, 2012; a son, Alvin E. Brown in January 1967; her daughter, Princess M. Brown in October, 2010; a sister, Chinell Davis and brother, Charles Smith.
She is survived by her loving son, Richard (Robin) Brown; sisters, Clara Mae Stoudemire, Ella Mae (James) Debardlabor; grandchildren Frank Brown III and Maurice Brown; several nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Visitation will be held from 9-10 AM Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 10 AM Tuesday, with Rev. Samuel Winston Jr officiating.
Burial at the Dayton National Cemetery.
