Maryann (Durst) Sanderson-Cochran, 91 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2022.
She was born in Dayton, OH on March 17, 1930. She was married to Gilson Sanderson from 1950 to 1976 and to Robert Cochran from 1978-1985.
Maryann had a rich and colorful employment history. From grooming dogs to proprietress of the Apple Tree, to travel director for the Carlson Marketing Group, to Benham's Grove event host, to growing cannabis in her closet, Maryann's work reflected her unique, bohemian spirit.
She is survived by her sister Gretchen Martin and sons Jon (Maggie) Sanderson and Tom (Cindy) Sanderson and daughter Maryanne (Mark) Chaffee and great grandson Arthur Sanderson.
