Mary Louise Wall, age 91, of Spring Valley, OH passed away peacefully on September 7, 2021 at Southview Hospital. Mary Lou was born on February 11, 1930 in Dayton, she was the daughter of Alfred and Edith (Sullivan) Utz . On November 21, 1950, she married the love of her life, Richard "Dick" Louis Wall, Sr. Mary Lou and Dick were blessed with 3 wonderful children.
Her husband and her family was Mary Lou's world and she would do anything for them. She was a wonderfully devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her spare time, Mary Lou enjoyed sewing and reading, especially mystery books. Mary Lou loved to spend time in her kitchen baking making her famous sugar cookies and making the "world's best Fudge!" She was especially fond of going to musicals with her granddaughters. She was so looking forward to seeing her granddaughter star in the leading role in Mama Mia that is scheduled for later this Fall.
Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Connie (Philip) Fisher; son, Mark (Jeanine) Wall; granddaughters, Phoebe (Christopher) Dickman, Liza "Aggie" (Charles) Wall, Jennifer (Todd) Sundstrom, Katie (David) Millward, Rachel (Matt) Tyahur and Megan (Doug)Guidish; grandson, Ian (Amy) Fisher; great-grandchildren, Todd, Elizabeth, Joseph, Thomas, Mark, Finley, Eric, Everly and Stephen; and several loving nieces, nephews and close friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Along with her parents and husband, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her son, Richard Louis Wall, Jr..
A memorial Mass to remember Mary Lou's life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 1:30pm at Church of the Incarnation, 55 Williamsburg Lane, Dayton, OH 45459. Cremation will take place with a private family inurnment in Calvary Cemetery.
