Mary Wade

WADE, Mary L., age 92, of Centerville, was born on May 30, 1921. She waited to pass on Saturday, December 28, 2013. This was her wedding anniversary and the day her husband, Gene, passed two years ago on their 72nd anniversary. This is a love story.

In addition to being preceded in death by her husband, she is also preceded by her sisters, Annie Steinbach, Isabelle Metter, and Angelina Vincequerra; brothers, Joseph Tarlano, Dominic Tarlano, and James Rotunno, and grandson, Bradley Wade.

Mary is survived by her children, Ronald (Nancy) Wade and Gary (Kae) Wade; grandchildren, John (Denise) Wade, Mark (Molly) Wade, Carrie (Jerry) Harsh, and Amy Wade; great grandchildren, Bryce, Lily, Sarah, Rachel, Caleb, Ryan, and Allyson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She worked as a bookkeeper for an accountant for 30 years. She loved to play cards and spend time with family. Mary will be missed but her presence will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

The family would like to extend our gratitude to Gail and Ken Radcliffe and Dena Wenzler, as well as all of the caregivers at Hospice of Dayton, and the caregivers at Gem City, including Stacy, Jenn, and Amanda.
