Mary Denham Taylor, 84, recently of Troy Center Nursing Home and spent the last 4 years in Punta Gorda, Florida. She lived in Dayton most of her life and was born September 25, 1930 in Cox's Creek, Kentucky and passed away January 13, 2015. She was preceeded in death by husband Arthur Denham, husband Paul Denham and husband Emory Taylor. Mary was preceeded in death by Mother Josie and Father Richard Curtsinger, brothers Jim Curtsinger, Charles Curtsinger, Earl Curtsinger, and sisters Evelyn Witt, Dorothy Crow, Dessie Hawthorne, Bessie Hawthorne and son Larry Denham and grandson Billy Dewitt. She is survived by sisters Ann Curtsinger, Kathy Horton, brothers Clarence Curtsinger, and Richard Curtsinger. She is survived by her loving daughter Judy Staffan and husband Jim of Punta Gorda FL, Paulette Denham Mayhew and son Jerry Denham. She loved her grandchildren Michelle, Michael, Shelly, Shawna, Melissa, Chris, Daniel, Paul, Lonnie and many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mary worked hard all her life as an interior decorator and enjoyed being with and taking care of her family. She was loving, gentle, kind to everyone and her home was open to all. She believed in God and read the Bible every night. Her services will be at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 10am-12pm with a funeral service to follow at 12pm.
