Mary M. Stroup, age 92 of Springboro, formerly of Cincinnati, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2015.
She was born May 3, 1923 in Cincinnati to the late George and Anna Benz. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Edward Stroup; and son-in-law, Gene Kabler.
Mary is survived by her husband of 68 years, William Stroup; son, Robert (Ellie) Stroup; daughter, Annetta Kabler; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Gertrude, Helen and Claire; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mary was a faithful member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Oakley and a Memorial Mass will be held there at a later date. Day and time will be announced.
Visitation will be held from 1-4 pm on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Contributions may be made in Mary's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
