Mary M. Russo

Mary Febrey Russo, a wonderful mother, grandma, Gigi, sister, wife and servant of God, left this earth on Saturday, 10/26/19.

She was devoted to her family her entire life and served the community as a caregiver, volunteer, giver of holy communion to the homebound, and an evangelist, as she spread the gospel by giving out prayer books, holy cards and medals to everyone she met.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 38 years, Charles C. Russo.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sharon (Tim) Orr, Michele (Greg) Faught, and Megen (Joe) Elswick. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life: Mindy (Mark Schultz) Russo, Michael Orr, Justin (Karla) Orr, Christine Orr, Alyssa Faught, Chelsea Faught, Hayley Faught, Dawn Elswick, Cheyan (Rob) Johnson, Adrian Elswick and her great grandchildren, Lexi Russo and Braxton Johnson.

Her beloved, deceased brothers and sisters, Paul & Barb Febrey, Phil & Shirley Febrey, Rae Russo, Loretta & Ed Memmel and Patricia Russo awaited her arrival in heaven.

Her living brothers and sisters, Ginny (Babe) DiPonzio, Frank (Peg) Febrey, Betty Jane Febrey and Patrick Russo, as well as her numerous nieces and nephews, are here to pray for her soul on earth.

If you knew Mary, you knew that she always said, "God bless you," whenever she said goodbye. May God wrap His arms around you, Mom, and God Bless You!

Visitation for Mary will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd Beavercreek, OH 45432. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 2300 Smithville Rd Dayton, OH 45420.
