Mary Rumer
February 26, 1922 — July 17, 2013
Mary Rumer, age 91 of Peebles, OH went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2013. She was born in Beattyville, KY to the late Violet and Hugh Wilcox. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Walter Rumer, 5 children, and 6 siblings.
Mary is survived by her children, Dolores (Gordon) Stowe, Dottie Musselman, Betty (Les) Massingale, Gary Rumer, and Vera (Keith) Gray; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mary attended Chillicothe Baptist Temple for many years. She dedicated her life to her own children and helping other children who needed a home. She was a very strong woman and will remain a role model for those she has left behind.
