Mary M. Parker, a beacon of kindness and love, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on May 15, 1933, Mary lived a life rich in compassion, always prioritizing the well-being of others before her own. Her generosity knew no bounds; she consistently made sure that everyone around her felt okay and cared for.
A woman of remarkable strength and independence, Mary expressed her love through her actions and devoted her life to her family and friends. She found pure joy in simple pleasures; whether it was going on walks, enjoying a stroll through shopping malls, or cherishing moments with her loved ones. Mary had a particular fondness for her grandchildren, creating cherished memories that her family will hold close to their hearts.
Mary was deeply proud of her faith and community involvement, being an active member of the New Beginnings Church of God for over two decades. Throughout her life, she served and volunteered, reflecting her commitment to helping those in need and uplifting spirits wherever she could.
She is survived by her children, Teresa (Ken) Harville and Alan (Rose) Parker; her cherished grandchildren, Craig (Toni) Harville, Jason Harville, Christina (Poppy) Parker, Scott (Rebecca) Parker, and Shannon (Miranda) Parker; her loving great-grandchildren, Alexis (Cannon), Chayce, Jayden, Tara, Alyssa, Erica, Brandon, Adrianna (Tyler), Jasmine, Logan (Chloe), Mikey, Stephen, Aiden and Zack; her beloved great-great-grandchildren, Caden, Cameron, Cora, Ella, Jeremiah, Chloe, Paisley, and Garrett; her sister, Rosetta Teague; along with countless family members and friends who were fortunate enough to know her warmth and love.
Mary joins her loving husband, Oscar Parker Jr.; her great-granddaughter, Payton Harville; and her parents, Cleo and Dessie Frith, in eternal peace. Her legacy of love, selflessness, and unwavering faith will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be celebrated, and we hold her memory dear as we reflect on the remarkable woman she was.
