Mary Elizabeth Ocampo

Mary Elizabeth Ocampo, age 64 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Heartland of Kettering. She was born November 15, 1956 in Somerset, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Troy and Dorothy Wright.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Raymond Ocampo; granddaughter, Gabrielle "Gabby" Osborne; brother, Paul Wright.
Mary is survived by her children, Stephen (Kristina) Wright and Hannah (Luke) Blair; grandchildren, Jesse, Xavier, Adam, Miguel, Amelia, Arturo, Karly Jó; sister, Ruth Reyes; brother, James (Lori Lee) Wright; numerous relatives and many friends; and beloved granddogs, Zoey and Chico.
Mary was always willing to help others and was strong in her faith. She enjoyed cooking, reading and loved dairy cows. She was the glue that held the family together and looked forward to holidays and family gatherings. Mary was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
