Mary Settles Mullins, age 82, born September 27, 1939, in Bradshaw, West Virginia to Willard and Lilly (Atwell) Settles. Mary passed away on August 20, 2022.
Her siblings (Irene and Oscar) went to stay with their Grandmother Vesta Louise and Henry Settles (Poore) when their father was killed in World War II in the D Day invasion.
Mary married Delmer Mullins in 1955 and were divorced in 1991. They had three children Ronnie (Mam) Mullins, Claremore, Oklahoma, Jennifer (Joey) Mangiamele Centerville, Ohio, and Martha (Jerry) Gillespie, North Kingsville, Ohio.
Mary is survived by her three children, her grandchildren Ronnie (Eva) Mullins Jr. of Wiesbaden, Germany, Mary Mullins (Josh) Ramby, of Kemah, Texas, Daniel (Lori) Gillespie of Roaming Shores, Ohio, and Lee (Samantha) Gillespie of Granville, Ohio. Great-Grandchildren include Mia and Aden Mullins of Wiesbaden, Germany, Ethan Welch and Jaden Ramby of Kemah, Texas, Addison and Eliana Gillespie of Roaming Shores, Ohio and Lincoln and Silas Gillespie of Granville, Ohio. Nieces and nephews include Larry Settles of Norfolk, Virginia, Brenda Crawford Smith and Roger Crawford of Crestline, Ohio.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her grandmother Vesta who raised her, Delmer Mullins (2015), her sister and brother-in-law Irene (2018) and Howard William (Bill) Crawford (2020) their son Randy (2012) and her brother Oscar and Faye (Bertha) Miller Settles and his two children Annaree (2021) and Jamie Settles (2010).
Mary loved to work in her flower beds and collect recipes. In 2017, Mary moved back to Ohio from Texas so that her daughter Jennifer could help her with her daily needs.
