Mary Kay Meyers, age 80, of Xenia, Ohio passed away November 12, 2019.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 22, 1938.
Mary Kay graduated from Kiser High School in 1956. She attended Wright State University and Kettering College of Medical Arts, earning her bachelor's degree.
Mary Kay spent most of her career as a server and manager at Elsa's Mexican Restaurant on Linden Avenue.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Mildred Meyers; and daughter Kathy Garrison.
Mary Kay is survived by her children David, Daniel, Doug (Theresa), and Dennis (Amanda) Sommers; daughter Karen (Michael) Detter; grandchildren Nicholas Garrison, Justin, Riley and Alona Sommers; Christopher, Brandy and Kellie Detter; Lindsey and Amy Sommers; Christy, Missy, Kimberly, Cassie and Douglas Sommers; Amanda Saunders. Close family friend Destiny Miller. Numerous great-grandchildren and close personal friends.
Family and friends will visit from 2-4:00 pm on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel with a Memorial Service taking place at 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Kay's memory to SICSA.
