Mary H. Mcdaniel

Mary Helen McDaniel, age 74 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Grandview Hospital. Mary was born March 18, 1945 in Georgetown, Ohio. Marjorie and Virgil Berry, Sr. were her parents. She was one of 13 children.

Her siblings, James, Lloyd, Kenny, Virgil, Jr., Dwight, Stanley, Carolyn, Joan, Barbara, and Virginia preceded her in death. Remaining siblings are Joyce Turner and Frederick Berry, Sr. all of Dayton, Ohio.

Mary moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1980. Her employment consisted of Alverda Reed School for 10 years. Police department as a meter maid. Self-employed (Mary's Classic Thrift Shop). Road Way as front desk clerk and House Manager for the Salvation Army for 20 years.

Mary enjoyed designing and making something out of nothing. Church and voluntary work for many organizations. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Sherri Taylor (Keith), Dannette (Lonzy) Addison, Toska Taylor, Khaila Taylor and Theron (Carina) Taylor; grandchildren, Terence, Tamitruis, Cameron, Seth, Jasmine, Blake, Jessica, Christian and Jason; great grandchildren, James Dale, Taivon, Kalee, Jac'Lyn, Tremaine, Ali, Ziah, Jayden, Jorydan, Cameron, Jr., Naomi, Averi and Elijah; and life-long friend, Riley Watts.

Family will receive friends Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio.

Following the memorial service, friends are welcome to join the family for a repast Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Courtyard Marriott South/Mall, 100 Prestige Place, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Donations of food for the repast are welcome. There will be a person at the Courtyard at 11:00 to receive food if you wish to drop off your donation prior to the service.
