Mary Ellen Mays, age 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. She was born on August 8, 1942 in Dayton, OH.
Mary was a strong, generous, outgoing and Christian woman. She enjoyed traveling, volunteering and attending church. She was artistic and enjoyed painting and crocheting. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Theresa Hrachovina and her brothers, Thomas, Daniel and William Hrachovina.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Gualtieri and Tammy Simpson; her grandchildren, Adam, Marcus, Hannah, Olivia and Emily, numerous great-grandchildren and her sisters, Diana, Marilyn and Tammy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 9:30am to 10:30 am with services immediately following, all at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
Mary will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
