Mary M. (Maggie) Mullins age 92 went to be with Jesus on March 6, 2013. The world was given a gift on August 9, 1920 when Maggie was born in Letcher County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Tom and Amanda (Coots) Boggs.
She was preceded in death by her much loved daughter Sandra, her parents, sisters May Polly and Joan Calton, and her brother James Boggs. Also preceded in death Townsel Combs, Sr. and Eroy Mullins.
Maggie is survived by her two sons and their wives Townsel Combs, Jr. (Carol) and Keith Combs (Joyce); one brother George Boggs; three sisters Ella Washing, Martha Anderson and America Little. She had seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She also leaves the wonderful Mullins family, especially Dennis Stauffer, Virginia and Cecil Mullins. Maggie also had many friends in her Beavercreek neighborhood, especially Bev and General Croucher.
She loved her church, garden, fishing, cooking, and pulling pranks on people. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends but we know that she will be a blessing to Heaven.
The family especially thanks the nurses and staff at Soin Hospital and cannot say enough about the "out of sight" nurses and staff at Hospice of Dayton.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 11:00 am until 12:00 with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 with the Reverends William Rowe and Tom Chattin officiating. Interment will be at the Memorial Cemetery on North Dixie Ave. in Butler Township.
