Mary C. Lowe

Mary C. Lowe, 96, of Xenia, passed away March 7, 2017. Mary was born in Cookeville, Tennessee on November 5, 1920 to the late William and Mollie Dietz. Mary retired from Rikes Department Store after over 20 years of service. She was a member of Women's Missionary Union for many years and a charter member of East Dayton Baptist Church. In her free time she enjoyed quilting, gardening and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Donald Lowe; daughter, Donna Lowe; brothers, James Dietz, Frank Dietz, Denny Dietz, Herbert Joe Dietz; sister, Ruby Dimple Randolph and grandson, Donald Lowe.

She is survived by her son, Donald C. (Joyce) Lowe; daughters, Mary Fay (Lee) Brady, Patricia G. (Billy) Newsome, Faith C. (Rick) Patrick; grandchildren, Clayton (Michelle) Newsome, Linda (John) Radheimer, Monja Proffit, Elizabeth (Tom) Whitman, Marc Brady, Mary Ann (Scott) Mermelstein, Ricky Patrick, Molly Patrick; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

A service will be held at 10am on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at East Dayton Baptist Church, 1380 Spaulding Road, Dayton, Ohio, 45432, with Pastor Brian Kershaw officiating. Burial will follow at Willowview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to East Dayton Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
