Mary Lou Craigo

Mary Lou (Tims) Craigo died January 13, 2023, at 80 years of age. She grew up in Newark, Ohio, graduated from Newark High School in 1960, and went on to attend Denison University and Ohio State University. Mary Lou married Bob Craigo in 1968 and was off on an adventure traveling in their Airstream trailer, following the sun where Bob worked as a master plumber with Lou in support in a sundry of jobs. Mary Lou was a mathematician, an excellent pianist, painter, seamstress and secretary. She loved her family and traveled all over the states to visit with them. Newark, Ohio was her birthplace and she lived in North Jackson, Ohio for most of her life with her husband Bob.

Mary Lou's mother and father, Amy Vance Tims and John William Tims, and sister Jane Ann of Newark, Ohio, preceded her in death.

Mary Lou is survived by brothers Jim (Anne) Tims, Jack (Brenda) Tims and Susan (Bill) Jansheski.

Mary Lou led a loving life and will be missed by friends and family.

Memorial contributions can be made in Mary Lou's name to The William Chaney Vance Athletic Scholarship Fund (Fund Number: 607446) at The Ohio State University.

A Celebration of Mary Lou's Life will be held at a later date by the family.
