Mary Linda Heider-Reeder, age 58, of Dayton, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Miami Valley Hospital.
She proudly served 3 years in the United States Navy at the Pensacola Naval Air Station.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah "Peggy" Reeder of Dayton, Ohio.
She is survived by her father, Max L. Reeder and step-mother Anubis D. Reeder of Centerville, Ohio; her sons, Stuart and Jonas Hughes of Pensacola, Florida; her brothers, Stephen "Steve" Reeder of Kettering, Ohio, Jon E. Reeder of Centerville, Ohio and Scott W. Reeder of Camden, Ohio; her sisters, Robin A. Norris of Bellbrook, Ohio, Kimberly L. Reeder of Portage, Michigan and Kathy A. Routzhon of Beavercreek, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Stephen M. Reeder and Zach M. Reeder of Kettering, Ohio, John Paul Norris II of Bellbrook, Ohio, Max Lee Reeder Hayes of Portage, Michigan, Jacob Routzhon of Beavercreek, Ohio; in-laws, Vickie K. Reeder of Kettering, Ohio, John P. Norris of Bellbrook, Ohio, Jacque Hayes of Portage, Michigan, Jim Routzhon of Beavercreek, Ohio, Marcia Reeder of Kettering, Ohio. Also survived by her longtime companion, Wayne Gordon; and her many friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 2-4 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
