LEAR, Mary Alma " Almie", 73, of Dayton passed away Friday, March 6, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Mary Leach; brothers Roy, G.B., Dewey, and Jay Roberts and Hubert Leach; sisters Mae and Dorothy Roberts, Betty Ridner, and Lib Messenger. Almie is survived by her husband Wilbur W Lear; children Dan Fritts, Donnie Fritts, Betty Fritts, J.B. Fritts, and William Lear; grandchildren Crystal, Jamie, Joshua, Kasidy, Jena, Korey, Amanda, Bradley, Robbie, Amy, and J.R.; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. She was a member of Glad Tidings Church, an accomplished musician, singer, and songwriter. She enjoyed music and spending time with family. Funeral services will be held 4:00PM Tuesday March 10, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00PM prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Mercerville Cemetery at a later time.
