Lawson, Mary Anne, 85, of Dayton, passed away January 4, 2018.

She was born July 20, 1932 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Stanley and Katherine (Scott) Shively. Mary Anne worked as a cook for Fr. Stretch at St. Henry Parish for 15 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Riley "Skip" Lawson, daughter, Diana Theewis, son, Skip Lawson and brother, Stanley (Marilyn) Shively, Jr.

Mary Anne is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Doug) Rawlings; son-in-law, Rob Theewis; grandchildren, Angela Theewis - Sheets and husband, Robert, Tom Theewis, Steven Rawlings, Erin Rawlings; great-grandchildren, Sarah and Gabriel Theewis Sheets; niece, Janice Shively; nephew, Scott Shively; and her beloved dog, Clancy.

Family was most important to Mary Anne and she enjoyed spending every holiday and birthday, sharing good food and laughter with them.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Newcomer South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. where memorial service will be at 6:00pm (during visitation), Fr. Stretch officiating.

If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Greater Dayton Humane Society in Mary Anne's memory.
