Age 88, of Fairborn, passed away, Saturday, February 20, 2010 after a long illness.
She was born September 26, 1921 in Piqua, OH. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Deckard; parents Earl & Ruth Curtner; brothers John, Charles, Clarence, & Raymond Curtner.
Mary is survived by her daughter Louise Ann Deckard, Fairborn; son Thomas W. (Jewel) Deckard, Fairborn & son Dennis L. (Cheryl) Deckard, Clayton; sisters Helen (Richard) Murphy, Elsie Hutchinson; & Edith (Art) Cox; brother Edward (Joy) Curtner, all of Piqua; grandchildren Angelia (James) Kastle & Thomas Deckard, Jr., both of Fairborn, Sean Donnelly, Trotwood & Beth Donnelly, Lebanon; 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held, 5-7pm, Wed. Feb. 24 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton where services will be held at 10:30am on Thurs. Feb. 25. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
