Age 75, of Enon, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009.
She was born March 17, 1933 in Stonega, Virginia to the late James H. & Janie J. (Alexander) Boyd. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by one brother, James W. Boyd; and by two grandchildren, Steven & David Lowe.
Mary is survived by one daughter, Kathy & Winston Morgan; four sons, Jimmy & Rhonda, Steven & Diana, David & Robyn and Bobby Lowe; one sister, Allison Boyd; 15 grandchildren, James, Tracy, Jessie, Jeffrey, Kathy, Kristy, Brittney, Ashley, Todd, Heather, Justin, Jacquelyn, Harrison, Landon and Derek; four great grandchildren, Tony, Alicia, Jessie and Caitlyn; and by her sisters-in-law, Edna Sue Allen and Nora Marita Lowe.
She retired from Miami Valley Child Development Center in 1997 with 31 years of service. She loved to read and care for her animals. Mary will be remembered by those who knew her as a dedicated mother and one who loved to help others.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday (3/11) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
