Mary K. Coleman

Mary K. Coleman, nee Burke, "Granny Kay" went to be with her heavenly Father, who she faithfully served all of her adult life, on November 26, 2010. She was an active member of the Northridge Church of the Nazarene and retired from the Northridge Public School System.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billie B. Coleman; sons: Alan and Jeffrey; granddaughter, Emma Grace Coleman; her mom and dad; her in-laws; a brother; and a sister.

Mary is survived by daughters: Kathy (Don) Weiss and Sherry (Dennis) Jones; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and many beloved family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Northridge Free Will Baptist Church, 4800 Payne Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45414, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, 10:00 am – 12:00 Noon. Pastor Paul Watkins officiating. Burial to follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary's honor to the Northridge Church of the Nazarene, P.O. Box 131106, Dayton, Ohio 45413. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
