Mary Jean McCoy Davis, age 86 of Xenia, passed away Wednesday morning September 5, 2018 at home. She was born July 8, 1932 at the McCoy family farm outside of Peebles, Ohio the daughter of the late Floyd and Ida Pendell McCoy.
Mary Jean was an avid camper, loved to fish and was an artist of ceramics and crafts. She was a loving wife, a terrific mother and grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-laws, Patty and Kenny Jones and Diane and David Gillaugh; grandchildren, Brett Jones, Jared and Natalie Jones, Joshua Gillaugh and fiancée Jessica, Alyssa Ahern; great grandchildren, Carson Jones, Jessica Gerardi, Chris Taylor; a sister, Gladys June Henize; sisters-in-law, Charlene Davis Ramsey, Margie Davis Evans; brother-in-law, Ron Barlow and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband , Junior Oscar Davis, son, Thomas Dean Davis, brothers, Ralph McCoy, Charles McCoy, John McCoy; sister, Lillian Fern Douglas.
