Mary J. Hester

Mary Joanne Hester, age 73 of Huber Heights, passed away May 5, 2015. She was born September 30, 1941 in Dayton to the late Joseph and Mary Brodowski. Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph and sister, Leona.

She is survived by her three children, Dennis Hester, Carrie Hester and Tony Hester; grandchildren, Amy, Daniel "DJ" and Danielle (David Santana); great-grandchildren, Arianna and Colton; father of her children, John Hester; brother, Robert (Eleanor) Brodowski; sister, Florence Schock; special pup, Dixie and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mary presided as a judge over women's gymnastics competitions for many years. She attended St. Peter's Catholic Parish in Huber Heights. Mary was involved in many charitable organizations throughout her life including but not limiting to Wounded Warriors, Special Olympics and many Breast Cancer Awareness organizations.

She was an inspiration to all that she knew and will be dearly missed.
