Mary Gail Howard, affectionately known as Gail, was born on February 15, 1944, in Sioux City, Iowa, and passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025.
Gail was known for her kind and loving nature, bringing joy and laughter to those fortunate enough to know her. Her vibrant personality was characterized by her great sense of humor, and she was always a source of fun and camaraderie among her family and friends.
Gail is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Loren; her children, Cary (Kelly) Mason and Traci (JP) Park; along with 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, all of whom are profoundly grateful for the love and wisdom she shared throughout her life.
She enjoyed a fulfilling career, having dedicated 33 years to Reynolds & Reynolds, where she worked diligently in the payroll department. Beyond her professional achievements, Gail had a deep passion for gardening, which brought her immense joy and served as a reflection of her nurturing spirit. She devoted much of her time to charitable endeavors, particularly with Sigma Beta Sorority, and volunteered for the Joslin Center, making meaningful contributions to her community.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Fern Conover; her brother, Jerry Conover; and her sisters, Connie Arndt and Joyce Davis. Her legacy of kindness and laughter will continue to resonate within the hearts of those she touched.
