HODAPP, Mary Elizabeth "Betty", age 90, of Centerville, OH, passed away on January 25, 2017.
Born to the late Albert Hodapp and Angela E. (Deger) on August 4, 1926 in Dayton, OH. Betty was a life-long member of the Dayton Catholic Women's Club, the Christ Child Society, and was an alumni of Chaminade Julienne High School. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a business degree and was a member of the U. D. Golden Flyers.
She was employed at NCR after she taught business subjects at U. D. and was a business instructor at a number of area business schools. Betty enjoyed art school at the Dayton Art Institute, Sinclair College, and Hither-Green Senior Center in Washington Township where she had many friends.
Betty is survived by a beloved son, Jim Pfeiffer of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Nancy (Frank) McBride of Kettering, OH; brother, Ted (Joan) Hodapp of Utah, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Betty is preceded in death by her beloved sons, Bill and Tom Pfeiffer, and brother, Bert Hodapp.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, OH 45459. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
