Age 78, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010.
Mary Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene E. Mayle, Sr. in 1974.
Mary Helen is survived by five children, Cheryl (Ivory) Franklin, Sherri Flakes, Terri (Edward Bland) Mayle, Eugene E. Mayle, Jr., & Stacie (Russ) Savage; four grandchildren, Ivory III, Eric, Jeshimon & Gabriel; three great grandchildren, Genelle, Genisse & Eric Jr.; two brothers, Clyde (Eleanor) Hill & Ralph Hill; and by her extended family & many good friends.
Mary Helen was very proud of having participated in the Diet Workshop where she lost over 250 lbs and was featured in a Woman's Day magazine article.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with interment to follow at the Dayton National Cemetery.
