Mary Helen Egnor
Age 74, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord and her husband, Oscar, Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Hospice of Dayton. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Noah & Artie Mae Stephens; one grandchild, Brian Lee; one great grandchild, Alyssa Kay; and by numerous brothers and sisters. Mary is survived by her loving companion for the past eight years, her dog Cody; six children, Brenda Burchett, Dennis Egnor, Deborah Burchett, Kenny Egnor, Denny Egnor & his wife, Gina, Jack Egnor & his wife, Marcy; seven grandchildren, Greg, Christy, Helen Nicole, Geoffrey, Brandon, Denise and Kayla; eight great grandchildren; five sisters; two brothers; and numerous other family members and friends. Mary will be remembered by all as a very loving mother, grandmother and friend. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 11, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 13, in Pine Knot, KY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to be used at their discretion.
