Mary H. Banks
Mary H. Banks, age 82 of Englewood, passed away May 29, 2011. She was born April 20, 1929 in Pence Branch, KY to the late James and Josephine Hoffman. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, James Watkins and Robert Hoffman; and sister, Reva Moille.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of nearly 62 years, David E. Banks, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law: David E. and Joy Banks, Jr; sister, Nioma Spencer; and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was a 25 year retiree of General Motors and volunteered at Grandview Hospital for 24 ½ years.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Pastor Buck Smith officiating.
