Mary Gimmey

Mary A. Gimmey, age 70 of Huber Heights, passed away September 19, 2011, with her family by her side. She was born March 1, 1941 in Plattsburgh, NY to the late Amos and Lena Osher.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Gimmey.

Mary is survived by her husband of 43 years, Raymond Gimmey; children: Nancy Templeton, John (Melissa) Flaim, Sharon (Kenny) Fultz and Shannon (Chris) Cox; grandchildren: Stacy, Christina, Jessica, Michelle, Michael, Crystal, Amanda, Courtney and Elizabeth; 14 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Amos Osher, Andy Osher, Theresa Peal, Dick Osher and Thom Osher.

Mary devoted much of her time as a caregiver to her family, and was an avid bingo player.

May we all feel her touch from above, as we all felt her touch our hearts while she was with us.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
