Mary Ann Frantz

Mary Ann Frantz, 96, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2022. Mary Ann had the chance to write her own life story and we are sharing it below:

"Hello there! My name is Mary Ann Frantz! Please call me Mary Ann or Gert! I was born on August 13th, 1925. Dayton, OH is where I call home. My siblings Will, Joe, Jackie and I were raised in a loving home by my parents, Omer and Gertrude. I graduated from Julienne Catholic High School and met my husband Al at the roller skating rink. We were happily married for 66 years. Al and I have 5 beautiful children: John, Judy, Jerry, Jayne and Joan. I owned a tv, furniture and appliance store for many years. After retiring, I moved to Indian Lake. I enjoy listening to music from the 50's and 60's era and piano. I also enjoy watching Wheel of Fortune and the Price is Right. I love to spend my time boating, playing cards, traveling, and spending time with my grandchildren. I am the proud grandmother to 10 grand children, 14 great grand children and 10 great great grandchildren." - Mary Ann Frantz

Please join us, her family, to share in her memory at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd) on Monday July 18th, 2022 at 10:00 am with funeral service to follow at 11:00 am.
