Mary Espensen

Espensen, Mary E., age 92, of Riverside, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at her home. She was born September 29, 1915 in Dayton, OH, the daughter of Edward Lewis & Clara Bell (White) Kinnimon. Mary was a Lifetime Member of the VFW Post 657, an avid camper, and she loved going to Whispering Palms Beauty Shop on Airway Road. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Espensen; son, Richard MacNabb; sisters, Nellie Doyle & Peggy Reck; brother Frank Kinnimon. Survivors include her children, Dannie Boehner, Dave Espensen, Nancy (Danny) Evans, Don (Joyce) Espensen, Sue Martin, Kristy Horton, Mary Ann (Patrick) Darnell; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 PM until the time of services.
