Mary Jolene Erisman

Mary Jolene Erisman, "Jo", age 72, of Springfield, formerly of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. She was born March 16, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to the late George and Margaret (Fitzmartin) Lauer.

Jo was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and worked as a Receptionist at Grandview Hospital for over 20 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Lauer, and two sisters Joann Cypher and Jean Schrack.

Jo is survived by her son Christopher (Wendy) Lauer; her daughter Brittany (Chad) Penrod; along with her grandchildren Mason, Heather and Scarlett; her great-granddaughter Kirsten "Mouse", and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jo was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 9:00 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 411 E. 2nd Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
