Mary Ellen Wilder

Mary Ellen Wilder, age 75 of Dayton, passed away January 28, 2019. She was born on April 6, 1943 in Dayton to the late John Stalman and Georgia (Applegate) Mathews. In addition to her parents, Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her step-father, Arthur Mid "Eddie" Mathews; grandson, Max Barlow and niece, Tina Lyon.
She is survived by her loving husband, Billy Wilder; son, Danny Barlow; grandchildren, Sydni, Quinci and Colton Barlow; step-daughters, Sheri and Sheila Wilder; step-son, Michael Wilder; sisters, Mildred (John) Salyers, Betty (Ronnie) Asher and Frances Mathews; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Mary Ellen enjoyed spending time in her garden and tending to her flowers. She loved reading the newspaper, playing with her dog and watching mysteries on TV.
Family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
