Mary E. Thompson

Thompson, Mary E., age 85, of West Carrollton, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008. Mary was born August 15, 1923 to the late Floyd & Reba Hicks. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Al Thompson and her son: Mark Thompson. She is survived by her three brothers and sisters-in-law: Loren Hicks of Watertown, NY, Roderick & Peggy Hicks of Port Charoltte, FL, and Ronald & Lois Hicks of Dayton; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Mary loved to play the organ, bowl, and paint pictures. She will be missed by all very much.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until time of services. Interment will take place at St. Johns Catholic Cemetery in Darien, CT. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
