Mary E. Rismiller

Mary E. Rismiller, age 99 of Dayton, Ohio passed away November 25, 2021. She was born January 16, 1922 in Muncie, Indiana daughter of the late Henry and Beulah Hose.

Mary was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a dedicated employee at Rike's for over 12 years. She enjoyed playing cards, yard work, cleaning her house, traveling, and spending time with her family. Mary had a great sense of humor and it brought her great pleasure making those around her laugh and smile. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Richard "Dick" Rismiller; and sisters, Virginia (John) Fight and Rebecca (Noah "Peewee") Rutledge.

Mary is survived by her son, Ted (Connie) Rismiller; granddaughter, Amy (Joel) Dallaire; great grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, and Reagan Dallaire; step grandchildren, Keith (Amy) Cornelison and Melissa Long; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 11am to 12:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A Funeral Service will begin at 12:30pm at the funeral home. Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery in Greenville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mary's honor to Hospice of Dayton.
