Mary E. Hieber-Rock
Mary E. Hieber-Rock, age 83, of West Carrollton, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Elmcreek Nursing Home, from Alzheimer's disease.
Mary is survived by her brother, Richard A. (Helen) Hieber; sister-in-law, Ipun Hieber; brother-in-law, Gerald T. Karl; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Rock; father, Raymond G. Hieber; mother, Gertrude M. Hieber (Kobus); sister, Dolores A. Karl; brothers, Raymond C. Hieber and William R. Hieber.
Mary Graduated from Julienne High School in 1946 and the University of Dayton in 1951.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 3, 2011 at 10am at Holy Angels Catholic Church (1322 Brown St, Dayton, OH 45409).
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
Donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or the Angels in Education (223 L. St, Dayton, OH 45409).
