Mary E. Campbell, age 68, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 7, 2022.
Mary was born in Dayton on December 27, 1953 to the late Walter & Leah Lyday.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Charles E. Campbell Sr. and sisters, Christina, Linda and Maria.
Mary is survived by her children, George (Angie) Lyday, Paula (Larry) Tipton, Paul (Karen) Gall, Adam Kaempf and Leslie Pelfrey; grandchildren, Shawn Pelfrey, Ashley (Chris) Moon, Jennifer (Ethan) Shaffer, Justin Tipton, Chris Kaempf, Brittany Gall, Addison Lyday and Ryann Lyday; great-grandchildren, Ethyn King, Elijah Elzey, Emery Elzey, Tynslee Moon and Emmett Elzey; sisters, Theresa Crabtree and Mabel Stroehel and many other relatives and friends.
Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed a good football game.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 4-6 pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 12:30 pm at the funeral home.
Mary will be laid to rest with her husband at Dayton National Cemetery.
