Mary Lee Dunkle

Dunkle, Mary Lee, 90, of Miami Township, went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2017, on her late husband's birthday. Clifford was waiting at the Gates of Heaven for his Beloved Mary Lee.

She was born March 27, 1926 at home in Athens County, Ohio to the late Harold and Garnet (Leake) Blower.

In addition to her husband, Clifford P. Dunkle who passed in 1990, Mary Lee was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Blower, brother-in-law, Rich Powell and son-in-law, Gary Grizzle.

She is survived by her children, Vicki (Butch) Wright, Paul (Danece) Dunkle, Jan Grizzle, Carol (Denny Forsyth) Law, Sherri (John) Bagby; 30 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. Mary Lee is also survived by her 2 sisters, Donna Powell and Barb Robinson and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was a member of Fairmont Baptist Church for many years and she enjoyed singing and had a beautiful soprano voice. She was a gifted seamstress, sewing many of her family's clothes. She was a voracious reader. Mary Lee was an amazing Mother, Wife and Friend. She had a great sense of humor and she always had a very sharp mind. She will be missed by all.
