Mary Sue Collinsworth, 66, of Middletown, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021. She was born on December 1, 1954 to the late Leslie and Phyllis (Henderson) Brock.
Mary Sue is survived by her daughter, Julie Collinsworth; granddaughter, Olivia Rose; best friend, Sheila Stephens; special friends, Patty and Richard Pate and Glenda and George Kuhn. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Collinsworth Sr.; and siblings, Ann Pate, Ronnie Brock, Bill Brock, and Cathy Perry.
Mom had strong religious beliefs in our Lord. She loved to cook and bake, and particularly enjoyed sharing her talent of cooking with others. She also loved flowers, nature, and snow in the winter. Mary Sue was a very dedicated mother and grandmother. She had a very close relationship with her granddaughter, Olivia Rose and her best friend and daughter, Julie. She also had a very special place in her heart for her beloved pets, especially Ozzie. She will be missed by many.
We would like to extend a special thank you to hospice nurse, Kelli Miles, respiratory therapist, Bob Westendorf, and the hospice staff and therapy for their support.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in Mary Sue's memory.
