Mary F. Coleman, age 81 of Englewood, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020. She was born January 28, 1939 in Brundidge, Alabama, the daughter of the late Clem and Alice Coleman.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Coleman; brothers, Clemmie Coleman, Allen Coleman, Albert Coleman, David Coleman, Karie Coleman, and first cousin and best friend, Mary Alice Alston.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Eric Coleman, Terrence Coleman, and Vernique (Alvin) Coleman-Stokes; siblings, Annie Mary Coleman, Leatha Rodgers, Robert (Delores) Coleman, Melvin (Dorothy) Coleman, Larry Coleman, and Ronnie Coleman; special cousin, Deborah (Curtis) Creighton; special nieces, Carla Taylor and Tracy (Clint) Mosley; special friends, Joe Sanders, Ernestine Hogan, and Kathe Harris; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and beloved grand-pup, Braxton.

Mary retired from Dayton Public Schools having worked in various capacities. She loved to cook, shop, dance, decorate the house and going to the race track.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 9 am to 11 am at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A private family service will follow. Burial will take place in Polk Grove Cemetery.
