Mary Catherie Cloran (Penny), age 74 of Dayton, passed away November 30, 2023. She was born February 3, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph J. Cloran and Carrie M. (Snyder) Cloran.
Penny is survived by her brother Joseph J. Cloran, Jr. from Fairborn, cousin Karen (Cloran) Mace from Houston, Texas; aunt Marie Snyder and family from Parkersburg, West Virginia; cousin Mary Ellen Fecca; as well as extended family in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Penny was a life-long resident of Green County. She has been a MRDD client since she was a little girl. She lived in Cedarville from the time she was young until 1997. She then moved to Fairborn with her mother until October 1999, then was in the care of her brother for 6 years going into a residential care home where she lived until the time of her passing.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 5, 2023 from 9:30-10:30am at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 10:30am.
Penny will be laid to rest at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
